Principal / Head Engineer at the Oslo Cyclotron Laboratory

A permanent full-time position as Principal / Head Engineer is available at the Department of

Physics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences.

About the position:

The position is linked to the Oslo Cyclotron Laboratory (OCL) at The Department of Physics.

The laboratory hosts the only research accelerator in Norway, which is used for fundamental

research in nuclear physics and various applications such as radiation hardness testing and

the production of radioisotopes for medical and technical purposes. The cyclotron is used by

researchers from the University and their world-wide collaborators in an international toplevel

research environment. The accelerator laboratory also plays an important role in the

education of Master and PhD students.
